What better way to celebrate the holidays than with music? The event is in New York for an exceptional performance in the United States: the execution of the Weihnachts Oratorium (Christmas Oratorio) by Johann Sebastian Bach.

The work is an iconic piece that evokes the magic of the Christmas Holidays: a cycle of six distinct sacred cantatas (On this occasion, Cantatas I, II, and VI will be performed), originally intended to be performed over six feast days, which tells the story of Jesus’ birth based on the Gospels of Luke and Matthew, narrating the period from December 25th (Christmas) to January 6th (Epiphany).
