Problemem jest brak strategii.”
Niestety – właściwie we wszystkich ważnych sprawach polityki międzynarodowej administracja Bidena kieruje się reaktywnością, chęcią utrzymania status quo za wszelką cenę bez widocznej strategii uwzględniającej dynamikę sytuacji i bez stawiania sobie mierzalnych celów. Nad wszystkim dominuje liberalno-lewicowy dyskurs prawnoczłowieczy wykluczający odwagę i realizm polityczny.
Andrew A. Michta – I fully agree, but you seem to be unable to understand reactivness of the collective West and its „optimistic denial” to accept Russia, China and Iran are actually preparing to a war of great powers is not a „bug”, but a „feature” of the liberal-left mindset.
The collective West cannot wake-up from its dream about „end of the history” not because we were not warned enough, but because changing this mindset would undermine the entire concept of the „rule based world order” grounded in utopian interpretation of „human rights”, „societal progress”, and „critical race/gender theory”. This concept was enshrined and celebrated by the West for decades, and you can observe it in growing rejection of whatever national particularism by young generations.
This was accelerated by global corporations, detached form local circumstances, and only interested in more homogenous consumer market worldwide. These corporations want to continue their business models grounded in fusion of consumerism with the lip-service to the ideology of „global responsibility”, so they align to the sensivity of radical „woke” Left and its repulsion to militarism.
Just listen to the American Academia and you will immediately see Ivy League campuses are hatcheries of the most brazen anti-americansim, anti-capitalism, and anti-westernism.
No wonder it’s so hard to alter everything and restart realistic politics if „making America great again” has become a synonym to fascism!
